Jacksonville for a Bachelorette Party!

Hi! I have a bachelorette party to attend this weekend in Jacksonville and we saw that the weather may not be ideal for the beach. Does anyone have any good day or night spots in Jacksonville for a bachelorette party? Maybe some for good and bad weather? Thanks!

Jacksonville weather, and southern weather in general, is constantly changing. I'd take any weather "reports" with a grain of salt. For instance, the other day the weather report said there was a 70% chance of rain, all day. It didn't rain once...in fact, it was quite sunny (beach weather!). That being said, it's always good to have contingency plans.

Question(s): do you want to stick to the beach? Are you willing to have a bachelorette party in town? How many people? What's your price point? Live music, or clubs, or bars, or....what is your preference? A little background info would go a long way!

That's good to hear about the weather!

We have 5 girls. We are staying in Atlantic Beach and going to K.C. Crave on Saturday night for dinner and then want to go to a bar afterwards with maybe some dancing as the night gets later...not a club and not a laid-back bar where 5 girls in dresses and heels will look out of place. More of hip, trendy, fun spot where we can be loud and have fun.

Hmmm. I'm going to defer to Spirit and Vicki on this one (they both live at the beach). I'm more of the "in-town specialist" ;)

That being said, you may want to look at Lemon Bar, Ragtime, ground level at One Ocean, and anything/everything along Jacksonville Beach's 1st Street.

Also, I haven't been, but I hear great things about Nipper's (it's on the water and is known for their festive atmosphere; people show up in flip flops and bathing suits, but also suits/coats/ties/dresses/heels.)

Ben, I don't live at the beach, goofy. Spirit does, though.

For an upscale 'clubby' kind of place where you won't be out of place dressed up, consider 'Suite' at the St. Johns Town Center. It's not at the beach, though.

Also, there's usually some action at the Jacksonville Landing - it's a spot right on the St. Johns River with several restaurants and clubs. Although some are 'dress down' places, you won't be out of place if you're dressed nicer there.

At the beach, the Casa Marina Hotel/Restaurant Penthouse Bar may be nice - you certainly won't have a problem if you're a little loud.

And for a "different" kind of thing, check out Hamburger Mary's. They have shows...ummm...well, look at the website. http://hamburgermarys.com/jax/

Have a fantastic time! Sorry the weather is so yucky for you!

Vicki

The best thing to do for a bachelorette party is a Pole Party, inshape Ladies Fitness studio is one place to check out while you're here!
