I will be traveling to the Baltimore / Washington DC area in July. Are there any hotels that offer shuttle service to / from BWI?

Most of hotels in the general vicinity of BWI offer free shuttles to/from the airport terminal--you can pretty much bet on it if "BWI" or "Airport" is part of the hotel's name. Staying at them is fine for one night if you have a late arrival or early departure--but wouldn't recommend them as a base for visiting Baltimore or DC over multiple days.

I can't think of any hotel located in parts of Baltimore favored by tourists (Inner Harbor, Fells Point, Harbor East) that does have a free shuttle to the airport.

If you have your flights already booked and a general idea of how much time you want to spend in each city, suggest supplying your itinerary. Also your average nightly hotel budget (including taxes), # of travelers, and bed configuration desired.

The Airport is 10 miles away; no downtown hotel offers free shuttles that distance. There may be $20 shuttles that do it. In fact, I have never heard of any downtown hotel offering free shuttles to the Airport since the Airport is usually pretty far away. How many go from Heathrow to Bayswater for free?

While there aren't free hotel shuttle buses between BWI and the central parts of Baltimore and DC, there is good, inexpensive direct public transportation connecting each--specifically MARC rail to/from DC ($7) and the light rail to/from Baltimore ($1.70).

With hotels situated near Baltimore's Inner Harbor and/or Washington's Union Station, no additional connection would likely be needed.

Light rail service to/from Baltimore: https://mta.maryland.gov/light-rail

Penn Line MARC service to/from Washington: https://mta.maryland.gov/sites/default/files/Penn_Weekday_Mar13_full.pdf

Hotels in other commonly-touristed parts of both cities can typically be reached via public transportation for either free or just a couple of dollars extra, or via taxi/Uber for perhaps less than $10.

Stayed at the Courtyard BWI. It was a good location close to the airport and close to family in the area.
