hotels near light rail line

Can anyone recommend a hotel right near a light rail station that takes you to Camden Yards? Stayed at a hotel 3 yrs ago where you just walked diagonally across the street and there was a station. Can't remember the name of the hotel, but it was very nice. And we didn't have to pay for parking.

The Hilton at 401 W. Pratt Street is between the Convention Center and Oriole Park. Light rail stops right outside, I'm pretty sure. It probably wasn't the one where you stayed (don't think it was open three years ago) but you can't get a much more convenient location.

The Holiday Inn Inner Harbor (see link below) is adjacent to the Light Rail, which runs along Lombard Street. The Radisson Lord Baltimore is about a half block walk.

Sheraton and Hyatt are right there at Camden Yards and the light rail. 2 blocks away. This is probably the one you are talking about. If you are reserving it for a game. Do it now as they are prime location and fill up quick for Baseball games. Especially spring time as there are lots of events at this time.

I'm guessing the OP was inquiring about a hotel outside of Baltimore that allowed them to use light rail into the city. Think about HuntValley or Timonium? Is that true? These areas would, in fact, have free parking, as well. You could also stay near the airport - most of those hotels have a free shuttle to the light rail.

Sounds like the Hunt Valley Marriott. There are other hotels in the Hunt Valley area as well like Embassy Suites. Not sure of any hotels south of the city that are right on the line but if coming from the North that would be the best. Towson is also an option but the light rail doesn't have alot of parking lots/spaces at the stations.

This link will give you a map which shows all the park and ride lots.

There's also a Red Roof Inn and a Holiday Inn in Timonium. I'm not sure exactly how close these are to the light rail stop, but they have to be pretty close. The Holiday Inn also offers a free local shuttle that would probably connect with light rail. If you're interested, I would recommend that you call them to make sure. As neslaw said, the Hunt Valley Inn is right across the street (BIG street) from the end of the ight rail line at Hunt Valley Mall.
