Which one to visit Evergreen or Montpelier ?

Hello, We will be visiting the Baltimore area and would like to visit a historic home, mansion. Can you please advise which one is the better place to visit? Evergreen Estate at John Hopkins University or Montpelier in Laurel Maryland ? We appreciate your opinion. Thank you !

I am ashamed to say that I have never been to either but JHU is a great campus to walk around. There is also an historic home in towson. http://www.nps.gov/hamp/index.htm. Another option is

Also, Gramercy Mansion is a gorgeous b and b with fabulous gardens. http://www.cloisterscastle.com/
