Depends where you are actually going. What to do? You can search the thousands of posts for such generic info.

Well if you'll be in downtown DC Memorial Day weekend you'll see Rolling Thunder.

Use Google maps for distance between two cities and expect traffic if traveling during rush hour.

If you want more ideas, be more specific on where you'll be and when you'll be there and what you like or dislike.

Its about 30 miles between cities so can be anywhere from 45 minutes ( no traffic 2 am) to 2 hours ( traffic duringh memorial day weekend). Other things to Do in DC are the Smithsonian museums, Capital, Washington Monument, Walk around the embassies at Dupont, shopping at metro center etc. It is endless. Just note the Washington monument is closed so you cant go inside and there are no more white hourse tours.

Baltimore also has many things to do. Indulge in seafood at the rusty scupper. Enjoy the inner harbor- science museum, aquarium, fudgery. You can shop in trendy fells point, visit the blacks in Wax museum. walters art gallery or BMA
