Search stay and cruise Baltimore. Looks like there are a number of options.

I'm sailing in Sept. A lot of research has led me to staying at La Quinta Inn. Check it out. Might be good for you too. Good reviews on Trip Advisor.

There are a couple of La Quinta. If looking at the BWI location, it is right in the hotel district on W. Nursury Rd and should be fine.

I'm staying at La Quinta in Glen Burnie. Right off I695 at exit 3 I believe.

For a night, it is fine. Directly off highway on a commercial street, near the main MVA building. Not a place for a tourist to stay for downtown convenience but fine for an overnight and short ride to cruise terminal.

Which of these locations is closest to the cruise ship terminal and how long will it take at 9am?

Am I correct in understanding that you can park while you're cruising and they will shuttle you to and from? Thanks much!

Yes, La Quinta will take you and pick you up. I've been told its a 20 minute ride. Now, how soon they pick you up after you call--I 'm sure there could be some variables affecting that. Parking for the week is like another $20 over their roomrate for 1 night. Check the reviews on trip advisor and call La Quinta if you want verification. Also, give me a PM when you get back and let me know how it went.

We stayed at the La Quinta in Glen Burnie a couple of years back. At that time, they only had one van (shuttle) and they always ran behind so you all might want to make sure you give it plenty of time, but (then again) nobody is going to show up at the ship at the very last minute, right? ;=))

It didn't have much ambience (on the Ritchie Highway across from a Denny's) but the parking lot had some nice cars in it so that's always a good sign if you want to keep your car there for a week or so.

Thank you! Which La Quinta location did you stay? We want to be in a safe area for us and our car.
