We are coming to Savannah in the 3rd week of October.

A few questions:

1. Is 3 days enough time to see Savannah ?

2. Give me your top 5 sites to see in the Savannah area.

3. Give me your top 5 restaurants in Savannah.

4. Give me your top 5 Micro-Breweries in Savannah.

5. Give me your top 5 Hotels in Savannah.

Thanks for any help you can provide

I'm looking for personal favorites from people that have travelled to Savannah, not USA Today favorites.

Thanks for the reply.

Well, our personal favorites are in the Top Questions.

I don't know of 5 microbreweries open to the public in Savannah. What have you heard about 5 microbreweries? Please share your intel!

TripAdvisor has Top 10 lists for most of these already:

Sites - https://www.tripadvisor.com/Attractions-g608…

Restaurants - https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurants-g608…

Hotels - https://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g60814-Sa…

Maybe you could use that info to narrow your choices and then ask questions about specific things from those lists.

You will get more out of TripAdvisor if you tell folks what you like so we can tailor our recommendations to you. TripAdvisor already compiles the top TA member recommendations for restaurants, hotels, things to do, etc. It won't be much help to you if it's not stuff you're interested in, though. The more you can tell folks about you the better recommendations we can make for you. My top 5 is not your top 5, y'know? I don't think you'll get many responses with this approach.

Can't help with 5 choices of any of those, but...yes, 3 days in Savannah is good. Two of my favorite sites were River Street...just sitting with morning coffee enjoying the view and watching for a huge cargo ship to come in....and Forsyth Park. We liked Huey's on the River, Lulu's Chocolate Bar...and Traylor Park (just two of many restaurants we went to) Moon River Brewing Co was (a little too ;) ) conveniently located just down from our hotel..Holiday Inn and Suites.

These are just OUR choices. Everyone is different.

Top five from personal experience:

Do take one of the Savannah HOHO bus tours; complete the tour, and then exercise the HOHO option.

^^^#7...that's just one, but....anyway.....

LaBeets I see you are posting the same question in Charleston and Asheville forums as well. Do you really plan to visit all 3 in just one week? That's a lot.

And...you are asking..."is 3 days enough time"....that's 9 days total if you do all three cities. More than one week. Just wondering.

Forgive me if I am out of line but sometimes when I see these posts I wonder if they are from travel agents scoping out a location for the benefit of their clients. So in other words, I sometimes think these requests (not always of course) are more survey questions than a true poster wanting to know what to go, where to eat etc. Just wondering
