Parking near Staybridge Suites Historic District

Noticed Parking was 12.00 per day at Staybridge Suites. Are there any alternative lots nearby that may be less expensive for a 5 day stay? We don't mind a walk with our luggage but the area needs to be safe and secure. Thanks in advance.

Parking is a premium in Savannah because the historic district is a small, tight area. You'll enjoy the Staybridge Suites very much. Their parking is a small lot behind the hotel. There is a parking garage on the corner. There is street parking on most streets in Savannah. You can buy a visitor's parking pass for $7/day or $12 for 2 days - savannahga.gov/cityweb/…

The visitors pass is a good deal. You can park at any meter that an hour or more or in any city garage.

We bought the visitor's pass the last time we were there. The only problem is you have to remember to go get one every 48 hours as that's the longest they will sell one for.
