Anyone stayed at the Staybridge Suites in the Historic Dist.

We are going in August and they seem to have a fair deal. $88 a night! Anyone stayed there befor? What did you think? Is it centrally located?

The location is great as far as convenience to most everything. For $88 a night, it will be hard to beat. I've never stayed there but look at the reviews on here and you'll get a good idea.

I could easily be wrong but if it matters to you, you might want to check their pet policy. I am very allergic to cats and remember checking all hotels before my first stay in the HD about 4 years ago and thought they allowed animals. But I could be wrong. The location is excellent! Try not to get a room on the first or second floor on Bay Street side as it will be noisy to a point as the traffic goes by.

Yes! It is very very nice. That is a great rate! The only time I've gotten anything close to that is a Hotwire rate. Nice rooms. Kitchenette in the room. Free breakfast in the mornings. Evening appetizers a couple of times a week during the week. Lovely lobby with fireplace and plenty of chairs to relax in. Parking in a small lot behind the hotel. Courteous staff. GREAT location. One of my favorite hotels in Savannah.

Re pet friendly hotels - they reserve certain rooms for pet and charge a high non-refundable fee to treat those rooms after departure. If you are not traveling with a pet, you'll not be impacted in any way. You'll not be in a room where a pet had been.
