Need a quiet place for July 4 -- Tybee Island?

Are fireworks allowed on Tybee Island? I do not mind if there is an official fireworks show, what I am trying to avoid are lots of people setting off random fireworks all night. I've never stayed on Tybee and I've heard there are a lot of pet-friendly rentals there.

I know Georgia does not allow as many types of fireworks as SC, so I am hoping it is better in GA on July 4. I live in SC and unfortunately am forced to leave my home to avoid people setting off fireworks (scares our dog). I wouldn't even mind if they stopped by 10 p.m., but they do it all night and if they have any left over they do it the next night, too. You'd think people would be more considerate with all the soldiers coming home with PTSD.

Anyway, looking for a quiet place to rent a condo or cabin, either beach or mountains is fine, just need some PEACE!

Consider a state park. Many have rental cottages that allow pets. That's a busy week so it may be hard to find one available.

You can also check VRBO for a place in the north GA mountains. Here's a search for moderately priced ones that are pet friendly -
