We will be in Fairbanks the first week of March and are thinking about signing up for an Arctic Circle driving tour. Searching through previous posts on this forum most were from people taking the trip in summer. I'm now wondering:
1. Is it worth taking this tour in winter or better to wait for a summertime trip?
2. What would you see in the winter, besides a white snowy landscape?
3. Can you drive this route yourself in the winter?
Thanks for any input you can provide!
