camping in Glacier National Park

We'd like to do camping in KOA West Glacier for Memorila Day weekend. Are nights really cold and cabins are a better choice? What can we expect in terms of lows at night?

All bets are off in terms of weather predictions. Even the weather reports for the immediate future seem to get it right about 50% of the time.

That being said, come prepared for rain. In my past 14 years of experiencing Memorial Day in NW Montana, half the time it rains, half the time it's gorgeous. Getting a frost at night would be unusual, but not rare. Snow has been known to fall as late as June (and even mid-summer).

Your best bet is come prepared, both with gear and mentally, to make the best of whatever weather shows up.
