River Float & Upper Antelope

I'm staying 2 nights at the end of the 3rd week in September; on my full day my 2 priorities are the half-day river float trip and the Upper Antelope tour. Considering the time of year, would you recommend the morning or afternoon float trip? Would it be too cold at 7am to be on the river? Thanks!

With average max temps between 75 and 80F that time in september it won't matter much imo Are you an early riser?

I am an early riser, but I didn't want to get out on the water if it was too cold. I guess I'll flip a coin. Thanks for your response!

September shouldn't be too cold. Wear a jacket that you can remove. You'll stay dry anyway.

You'll definitely want something very warm on the morning trip - we did it last year in May and it was really cold at first as long as we were in the shadow and with the boat moving.

Oh, you're very welcome, Tootey - you'll most likely be real happy you did that
