Out of town visitors coming- suggestions

We have out of town company coming here in May. We are fairly new to the area and would like to go for lunch where we can sit outside in a nice setting. Last weekend we took other guest to the Bistro at Childress Vineyards. While the atmosphere was lovely, the food was mediocre and I wouldn't want to eat there again. We had been there once before and also were not impressed with the food but decided to try it again.

Are there any places anyone could suggest? Is there nice dining in Old Salem?

Thanks!

These places have outside seating:

The food is good at all of these.

Thank you.

I was looking for something in a park like setting similar to Childress Winery!

The printworks is a favorite place!

I dont think you'll find anything similar to the Childress Vinyards in Greensboro because Greensboro is a city. Almost every restaurant in Greensboro that has outside seating will be subject to traffic noise , no matter how small.

I think that Mark's has outside seating, or at least used to have. Their food is not what I would call mediocre.

A short ride of an hour or so would be fine if anyone knows of any place!

I recommend the Village of Saxaphaw, a mill that has been reestored into a village on the mill pond. Very nice food at the general store in an idyllic setting. It is off either HWY #87 between Burlington and Pittsboro, or #54 between Graham and Carrboro.Check it out. They might even have some live music
