Does the fast boat call in at Lombok and if so which port?
Apparently Amed Sea, the fast boat is bankrupt & no longer operating.
There's Kuda Hitam who can be contacted through Ecodive at Jemeluk but I'm not sure whether it's a fast boat as I haven't used them. They go to Gili T, you could maybe contact them & ask if they stop at Lombok.
Many thanks to Ursie57 reply . As a result of your content and subsequent enquiry to Ecodive at Jemeluk I now have a solution to my problem. See text below.
Our boat Kuda Hitam leaves Amed every morning at 8.30 and arrives in the Gili Islands (Lombok) at 10am. The cost for transport is Rp350.000/person (approx. $40). The boat also stops at Bangsal (ferry port) where you can take a cab to Senggigi or other destinations.
There is also a boat (Gili Cat) that leaves from Padang Bai at
11.30 AM and arrival in Lombok at Teluk Kode at 12.45 PM. They provide pick up in Bali including Amed with additional surcharge IDR 350.000 per car beacuse Amed out of there pick up point.
Ecodive looks to be the one for us.Edited: 23 April 2011, 00:11
