My favourite is the Melasti spa. I don't remember the prices but I think it is about $12 for a massage. It is air conditioned, you get complimentary water when you arrive and are offered ginger tea as well.

From the Jayakarta turn right and walk along Padma Utara. Its about 5min walk.

Briella spa is just across from your hotel.

Most of the time it is really good but now and then you get a bit of a slacker.

It is good value for money

We went to Pips in Melasti St almost every day for a 1hr traditional Balinese massage and it only cost au$8. They have heaps of rooms (6 of us being done at the same time) and they played the most beautiful rainforest type music. The staff are trained well and very professional. You get to pick your own massage oil aroma. Every massage I had was good. There was another spa next door that we went to on one day because Pips was full and it fell far short of the experience in Pips. It was $1 cheaper, you didn't get aromatherapy oil and their rooms were so tiny that the massager would massage from one side then pull the bed across to the floor (with you on it) to get down the other side to continue the massage. There was heaps of calling out and chatting between the staff while they were all in different rooms massaging and the lady massaging the person in the cubicle next to me was leaning over the top (she was standing on the back -part of the massage- of a customer) looking at me getting undressed and calling out woo hoo. It was really bad and unprofessional. Pips was very cheap and much nicer. I would definitely go there again. I recommend more than 1 massage. After about 3 you really start to feel fantastic.

Probably no need to book the Melasti for morning appointments but they do get very busy in the afternoon.

We normally make an appointment for the next day when we have our treatment...yes, we go EVERY day :)

"Jari Menari" ~ massages are out of this world.

Ambience ~ "dreamy" , water sounds, ponds.

AU$30 for 70 mins.

Sensational !
