We were thinking of staying hear with our 18mnth old son but have noticed a few complaints about noise. Not just from the works but also from the bar at night? Would this be a bad option for staying at with a baby?

I would not recommend Baleka with babies. It is hardly a resort, the rooms are basic and the pool is not suitable.

We stayed here a week ago and loved it. Superior renovated rooms on second flor were great, clean tidy and no noise.( a couple of noisy school leavers but they are gone now ). Staff are really friendly. It's not five star but it's affordable and great. Have just booked again for next year :)

Where is the entrance to the Baleka? I walked around that area when I was Bali last and couldn't find it...

I'd like to know where the entrance is too. We're booked for August. Our flight gets in about 10pm so be nice to know where to find it.

Thanks

Luvs 2travel ,have you booked transport from the airport ? When you exit arrivals area to your right there is a taxi booth tell them where you are going a pay the driver should cost about 50000 rupiah to legian:-) they write the address down and give it to the driver.

There are two entrances, through the back on Padma Utara or from Wekudara st. Out the front is Boomerang Bar, this entrance is the one nearest the lobby. Most taxi drivers know where it is...

WE acually ended up staying at the Legian Beach hotel, was fantacstic for our little man he could run around the sparse garden areas and look at fish getting fed as well as the little squirrells. Also the pools were plentyfull with two seperate kids pools and also lots in the main big pools to entertain him, ie water fountains. The Staff were fantastic too so friendlly and helpfull. And we didnt have to cross a busy road to get to the beach. Would defitly recomend LBH to any one going to Bali with young children. :) Bali is such a beautiful country and the locals are amazingly friendly exspecially to our 18month old son who couldnt get enough attention :)
