Any info on the effect of the pool renovation at the Bali Mandira
I don't know first hand, but have heard the pool that is getting renovated is boarded up and the temporary pool is quite small.
There would have to be a lot of noise and I think this is confirmed by the Mandira offering 50% off rooms as well as either a free lunch or dinner during the renovation.
If you want a relaxing holiday, I would probably look at other options.
Thank you - big help
Unfortunately we booked the Mandira on a Wotif Mystery Hotel deal before we knew about the pool renos.......but it was non-refundable so we are hoping it will not be tooooooooo bad, LOL
We are there in 6 days time.........so I can let you know after that........
I figure if the weather is bad we will be wet before we get to the pool anyway, he he
I have been checking some reviews - many have said that it is not a problem - but I would love to hear from you when you get back.
Have a good holiday and thanks for your time.
I've added a few photos on this link.
I went in last week and the temporary pools are not adequate at all, such a shame. However if you are adults only the top pool is great.Since their prices are half price during the reno it is a good buy.
I booked the Mandira, before the renos we're announced for my honeymoon in March/April. I'm having second thoughts now, any info would be appreciated, on the renos. Should I stay or should I go. Tia
