Rama garden or Bali Court? Advice pls

Hi all, just deciding on where to spend 4 days in legian as part of our trip. Our budget is less than $80 Aud a night and we have narrowed it down so far to Bali Court and Rama Garden. We like this area and plan to mostly relax by the pool, little time in the room and out and about during the day. Require a private balcony. Does anyone know both these hotels and could recommend 1 over the other, or add another smallish hotel in the mix? (under $80 a night and nice pool/ decent room/ balcony) thanks!

Hey watto:-) have stayed at both and highly recommend either, although the bali court is starting to get a bit rundown. The staff at bali court are fantastic, there is a guy named agus there who does room cleaning, but he is also a driver who has his own car he is very good.rama garden is a bit more central to everything in legian and with recent renovations the rooms are excellent value for money,if you can jag a room for $80 a night there you are doing well. Baleka hotel next to the bali court is not bad either, you can get the classic room for around $60.

Hi..I have stayed at the Rama gardens. The new renovated rooms are lovely and the pool area is nice but quite small and all the rooms look down onto the pool. The upstairs rooms have a balcony where you can watch everyone swimming. The bar and restaurant are very popular in the evenings but the breakfasts were pretty poor.. Can't help you with the other hotels. I am also looking for an alternative to the Rama Gardens so it will be interesting if anyone comes up with any other hotels!

Location for Rama gardens is great and very close to PIPS massage run by Australians, Uncle Norms restaurant bar with live music and Sheppis bar run by Australians and lots of other bars/restaurants..Gosha and Bali Beach Shack.

Hi

We've only stayed at Bali Court & will return again. Quiet, clean and good value. If you are after a private balcony, Bali Court is not your place. No private balcony's at all.

Have stayed at Rama Gardens but not Bali Court. As stated rooms have recently been renovated and are now really nice. Great location, small but nice pool area with upstairs balcony.

I would not agree that the breakfast is poor. Choice of at least 4 hot meals, egg station, cereal, fruit, juices, toast croissants pastries...I mean geez what do you have for breaky at home perthmum.
