Jelly fish/stingers

Are these often a problem at Pemuteran and Menjangan Island?

Is there any season when they are better or worse?

Looking forward to lots of snorkelling there in mid February and want to be prepared.

Cheers,

Sue

for jelly fish stings I do -

washing in fresh water relieves the sting.

if continues try stingoes

or if worse an antihistermine if swelling and itchy

also ask locals they may have remedy of their own

...Never wash the sting with fresh water, it make it worse since the singing mecanisum with sting more but was it with salt water.

by that way, i am leaving in Pemuteran for 7 years and i never seen any jellyfish in number around Pemuteran or Menjangan, it can be some after bad weather / waves/ strong rain.
