Typical Brit Abroad Question

I am keen to leave the usual news, politics and stress behind me when I get there, but being Man City season ticket holder who will miss the game next Saturday, I just cannot let go of the footy!!

Do they show any premiership football over in Kuramathi?

Doubt very much that they would be showing football - the selfish devils seem to think you should be satisfied with simple luxury, the beauty of the Island, water activities, snorkelling, diving, drinking dining and so on! Well, c'mon, you didn't expect sympathy here did you? :-)

P.S. It appears they have WiFi and will lend out laptop computers. Job done! ;-)

I doubt that the players will notice you are not there lol

I will be surprised if you even think about football once the wow factor of the Maldives hits you :-)infact you won't be able to afford your season ticket next year your funds will be tied up saving for a revisit ;)

Seriously though have a great holiday

good luck

Don't despair - there was Premiership football on at Angaga (on the room's satelllite TV) and nearly all the resorts show sat Prem games in the bars.

Have a look on their website and see if there is a satellite TV in their rooms.

I don't do this for everyone, but to solve your dilemma I'll go on your holiday instead so you can stay home to go to the footy :-) I'll even take my own spending money.

The Maldives are football mad - it drives me bonkers when we are out there. if you have a TV in your room you will have access to more games than in the UK.

Footy drives me mad too. It doesn't come on in our house unless it appears when flicking channels, and even then I usually swear at it! Thankfully my wife doesn't like it too :-)

The tv set ups in the resorts tend to have channels that show various matcxhes from the Premiership. Cant know if you will see City but I have always seen United play on the box when over there...but then you always know you get quality in the Maldives ;-)
