Emerald Isle in Arkansas

Can anyone tell us anything about these condos? We are thinking about coming down sometime this year, but are wondering when is the best time to come. (Beat the heat and tourist!)

Thanks for any comments or suggestions!

If you want to avoid high heat and humidity, I would avoid coming in July and August, for sure. The first week or two in September and the last couple of weeks in June can be iffy as well. If you want to beat a good deal of the tourist crowds, I always follow the rule of either going on vacation before the kiddies get out of school (early June) or going after they get back in school (late August). The hotel rates generally go up after Memorial Day, and stay at a higher rate until a week or two after Labor Day.

You can go over to http://arkansas.com/helpful-info/weather and look at average weather temps and rainfall for the state.

Did a little research and found a couple of places with reviews on Emerald Isle Condominiums (5371 Central Ave). The first site had only 1 review on the place, but it is the most recent one of the 2 web-sites, and is dated 8-16-07. The reviewer mentions that all the condo's have been updated with new carpet, floor tiling and furnishings. redweek.com/resort/p1096-emerald-isle-condom… This second site has quite a few reviews, and should give you an idea of the area and a feel for the condo's atmosphere: igougo.com/lodging-reviews-b191759-Hot_Sprin…
