We were there a couple of days ago. It would work in places but it was really sketch.
Glad to see a reply, Debits. We have Verizon, so I didn't have a good answer for you.
I have T-Mobile, altho I am usually in the Montrose/Telluride/Ouray area. Works great in Montrose, get some dead zones between Montrose and Ouray/Ridgway, usually works well in town (Ridgway and Ouray). Once you leave Ridgway to head up to Telluride, will get any number of dead spots as you get into canyons and such on the ride up. Works fine (usually) while in Telluride and at our house, which is near the airport. While at the house, it usually is fine, but sometimes will drop calls over and over again ~ interference somewhere?? It has improved over the last few years. Used to work at our house, but not when actually in the town of Telluride.
I have lived here FOREVER and work in the area as well as drive about to Durango, Mancos and Cortez and VERIZON is all I use. It only has a few dead spots around Mancos, I have never considered leaving them. Hope that helps! The drive to Telluride, Ouray, Silverton & Ridgeway all have unavoidable dead-spots but they are short lived if you drive fast!! : )
Thanks. We actually switched in June as he ended his work in CO. Not pleased with service -- even trying to use wifi for calls is iffy. Will switch back when we are out of debt to T Mobile. no contract but[paying for phones which is just as bad!]
