We will be in New Orleans in mid-October this year. I've never been during that time of year, so I was wondering what the weather is typically like. Thanks!
The weather should be very pleasant, with highs in the 70s and a little cooler at night. You'll just be missing the heat and humidity, which tends to taper off by the end of September/early October.
Don't hesitate-sometimes its the best time of year.
we will be there then also. Its usually very nice but let me tell you..it the humidity that will get you, sticky, very sticky. Temp around 75-80 but it will feel like 95
missing the humidity???...I lived there for years...there is still humidity in October sorry to say
I´m going in mid October too, and I´m so glad to hear about the humidity, I really like it! :)
