There have been several questions wondering about damage to specific hotels, areas of the city, etc. I know many are gravely concerned. The trouble is, while the flooding continues to increase, no one can say if there will be anything left undamaged. Buildings and areas that were at first thought to be safe are now in danger. In the other locations that were devastated by Katrina, the catastrophic damage happened as the storm itself went through, but in New Orleans the damage is continually getting so much worse than it seemed at first. Let's all hope and pray that the emergency management people can find a way to stop the flooding before the whole "bowl" which is the city of New Orleans is filled with water.
