Restaurants during Mardi Gras

So I've been doing my last minute errands getting ready for next week and I wanted to run this list of restaurants past the forumites. I'll be there for 5 nights and while that theoretically would mean 15 meals, the reality is I'm probably looking at eating one 'nice' meal a day with lots of 'snacks' thrown in (yes, I do count garnishes as 'snacks'!) so I wanted to have a ready list of places to go without having to try to remember names or lookup phone numbers.

I'm not really looking to add to the list (Yes, I know that I'm missing some good ones...5 nights only...remember?), what I'm interested in is if anyone has any information on the hours/schedule of any of the restaurants during Fat Tuesday weekend. As you can see, a couple of them did have some updated info on their websites, but most didn't...I've included the website and phone information to save anyone else who wants to do something similar the time.

Thanks in advance to all who reply!

Most nicer places are open their usual days/times on the weekend before Mardi Gas, but some add extra times/days. You have to check with the restaurant. Most major restaurants are closed on Mardi Gras. There are some exceptions. I haven't seen a list for this year, but last year Stella, Emeril's and the Bombay Club were open on Mardi Gras; again, you need to check with the restaurants. If you want to go to the nicer places during this time frame, reservations are essential due to the hoards - and you should call ASAP.

Great list P-Bob.... I would focus in on a top three or four of the nicer places and make reservations accordingly. Galatoire's is a wait in line...so is ACME. Be good to your stomach. Cajun/Creole cooking is rich and spicy and after even an average lunch, you might be done for the day. Don't forget to work in a few mufallatas and po-boys. Bon appetit!

I've been using opentable.com a lot lately for reservations and it works great! No charge either. Of course, not all restaurants use this service but many do.

Thanks for the update...I was hoping to get more information in advance, but it seems like most of the places aren't posting it on their websites...
