There are quite a few threads thst already have that info. Try using the search feature. Cheap eats, inexpensive meals are terms to search on.

Hi KansCityKid. I have not had as much time to surf the web today, but hopefully, I will find what I need. Do you have a favorite place? From one KU fan to another. Rockchalk!

Sure do! Fav breakfast places are

Red Gravy, 125 Camp, (only open for breakfast and lunch, closed on Sundays)

Stanley on the corner in Jackson Square area,

Olde Coffee Pot

We actually usually do either breakfast or lunch and not both but our favorite lunch places are:

Again- Red Gravy

Johnny's for Po Boys

Royal House Oyster Bar

Palace Cafe

Splurge lunch= Commander's Palace, they have a week day special for about $20 and 25 cent martinis

Dinner favs

Red Fish Grill

Yo Mama's for huge burgers that soak up the alcohol, LOL

Mr B's Bistro

Pascale's Manale, (Uptown), best evah Oysters

Cooter Brown's, (Uptown), VERY casual, sports bar with good oysters also

Favorite band/bar: Funky Pirate at 727 Bourbon Street, Mark Penton and The Pentones Fri-Sat and Sun from 4-8 also now on Monday nights I think

Willie Lockett and the All Purpose Blues Band on Thurs 4-8 and Saturday 1-4

Have Fun! What are your dates?

I really enjoyed Daisy Dukes. Especially for breakfast or late night dining. Open 24/7. Nothing fancy. Just good diner food at reasonable prices.
