Where to buy fruits around canal st

Guys

i'm staying very close to canal & bourbon and can't find a good place to buy good fruits. Some places have them but they really aren't any good. Any good grocery stores within waking distance?

Thanks

Rouse's grocery store is at the corner of Royal and St Peter. You'll find typical fruit choices there as it's a grocery store. But if you can make it to the French Market (the Streetcar that follows the river woudl get you there), you'll find all kind of fresh options, dependind what's in season of course.

The Rouses on Baronne is a full service grocery store.

What are you looking for exactly?

Rouses' on Baronne and Girod is awesome and the Crescent City Farmer's Market is superior for locally sourced produce, seafood and food items!
