Breakfast is great and it is close. When you come out the front door turn left to Royal, walk one block to St Peter. Turn right on St Peter, half a block down on the left. You could also take Bourbon ST.

Another nearby option would be Stanley Restaurant. You may want to try them both if you are there for several days.

Larryjanice--LOVE the Old Coffee Pot! I have NEVER had a bad breakfast there. The staff can be a bit sassy but it is just the way they are. Please don't be put off by it. They also have Miss Shirley who is one of the best singers I have ever heard! Hopefully you'll get a treat if she sings. Enjoy!

Had breakfast there yesterday; waitress was so snarky, I thought I was in Coop's. Food was, as always, great.

OCP very good....the grits are sooo creamy. I always miss the snarky waitresses, and just get the sweet little ladies.

Here is another vote for The Old Coffee Pot. We have been dining there for decades, going back to when we lived in NOLA, and it was then Maxie's Coffee Pot. I try to dine there, at least one morning, when we are back in town.

OTOH, I have also had lovely breakfasts at Stanley, really just around the corner.

Camellia Grill is also a favorite, though we always go to the one at Riverbend. I always need my Nutty Waffle "fix," so they are always on our list. Have not dined at the FQ location, but hear great things about it.

Enjoy!

I like Camellia Grill but there were just too many kids in there for my liking! I also love Stanley's too!
