another attire question

I just want to make sure I have this down:

Delmonico, NOLA and Muriels:

khakis and short sleeve button up shirt for husband

What about Domenicas happy hour, Red Gravy dinner and Mr. Bs lunch

can husband wear nice shorts and polo (coming down in June)

I wouldn't wear shorts to any of those places, personally. Maybe some would. Unless I'm truly just "grabbing a burger in a bar" (Yo Mama's or Margaritaville or something), I put on long pants to go to dinner, or even lunch if the atmosphere requires them (Mr. B's falls into that category for me, as does Domenica).

Having said that, Red Gravy is very casual but I've never been there for dinner so I'm not sure what the atmophere is like.

I agree. New Orleans is not a beachy shorts/sandals town at night. I can't imagine wearing shorts at Mr B's.

I'd say that Domenica's is a little more laid back than the others. I'd feel comfortable dressed down at Domenica's happy hour. In fact I've done it.

Red Gravy is business casual for dinner. Thanks for asking.
