Pat O'Brien's

I've been to Pat O'Brien's in Orlando many times.

Has anyone been to both the Orlando location and the New Orleans location? Is there any difference in the food or drinks?

I've been to both-little to no difference in the drinks, and I haven't tried the food. But the total POB experience is far better in NOLA!

Haven't been to Orlando, but the one in San Antonio couldn't hold a candle to the one in New Orleans!

Like poole said, same drinks, but I never tried the food there (Pat's in NOLA makes good food!)

Drinks are the same. Nola blows Orlando out of the water in every other way

I don't think there is ANY WAY you can beat the Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans. That place (especially the outside court yard) is the BEST!!!!!

It sounds like Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans is an experience. We will definitely check it out. I was mostly curious about the food because it often mentioned as good which is not how I would classify the Orlando restaurant. Thanks for the responses.

I am always highly suspicious of iconic places that are "recreated" in some other location as a tourist attraction.

Yea Pat O's has really good food. I wouldnt go strictly there for a hurricane though as other bars in area make a 'real' one.

Thanks for the advice on the Hurricane but I don't drink rum with the exception of dark rum in a Dark and Stormy. My husband had a hurricane once at Pat O'Brien's and that was enough!
