Advice, I do not like seafood but the rest of my party does

Hi, I need advice on good places to eat that has a variety of foods.

I do not like seafood at all(yep I know its weird to go to New Orleans and not eat seafood of any sort, LOL).

My Husband and a couple going with us loves seafood.

I love chicken(especially fettucine alfredo cajun style)and beef.

One of the nights we are going to K Pauls but I need recommendations for other places to eat dinner.

We are going to Napolean House Bar and Cafe for lunch on one of the days.

We are staying at a B&B in the Faubourg Marigny so we have decided to visit Snug Jazz Bistro also.

We are going Oct 26-29

Any recommendations are very welcomed and apperciated.

Thanks!

Try Irene's Cuisine. They have some seafood dishes as well as awsome Italian food. The restaurant is at St. Phillip and Chartres in the FQ. They do not take reservations so go early or late to avoid a wait.

Our favorite place is Stella. It is in the 1000 block of Chartres, and has valet parking.

The menu is different than the usual, but has a variety. It is however rather pricy, so don't forget your pocketbook. The parking is however inexpensive per French Quarter standards, about $5.

Just a suggestion....

I know I've been recommending this a lot lately, but Nola has great chicken and steak dishes and also many seafood options. The service is flawless and the food has been excellent.

So glad you are going to the Napoleon House!! :) One of my faves.

For lunch (or cheap dinner!) you can try Cafe Maspero on Decatur. They have sandwiches and a variety of seafood and non-seafood dishes. Very inexpensive. You'll recognize it by the line out in front!

And, there's always a Lucky Dog vendor around....I got my fix a couple of weeks ago....love 'em!
