Laubichl

Does anybody know how close this area of Mayrhofen is to the town centre and lifts?

Looking at booking into Gastehaus Kroll Johann

Trying to get a last minute deal for 12th Feb if anyone can recommend anywhere, much appreciated!

Thanks

Jp

Laubichl is an area just north of Mayrhofen-

A relatively small roadway connects to Mayrhofen - you can walk and the area has ski bus service too.

you can check this pension

www.gaestehaus-kroell-johann.at

This is not far from the local campground.

This not unlike numerous other places in the neighborhood - clean with breakfast . If you walk out of the pension and turn left - you can walk directly into Mayrhofen in about 10- 15 minutes - The street of the pension becomes the main street of Mayrhofen.

If you know Mayrhofen - you enter the main part of town where you find the Alte Post Hotel on the corner.

The middle of February is a very busy time- school holidays here in Austria and some other places too.

That is great thanks, I am just waiting for a response from them.

The English and Irish holidays begin on the 21st, which is why we chose the week before, did not realise Austrian holidays were the 14th :(

Hopefully it will be okay,

Thanks

Austrian school holidays begin 7 February ( Vienna and Niederosterreich ) and depending upon the area of the country continue through the 26th.

All of Tirol also now receives many more guests coming from eastern countries too .

HI JP,

How did your holiday go ?

Was the pension nice and in reasonable walking distance of the town ?

I am considering booking up for March.
