Air Fare Savings Tips Needed!

Hubby & I spending 2 weeks in Hawaii from Feb 15-Mar 1 2014.

Week 1 - Mainland US to KON

Week 2 - KON to HNL

Home Mar 1 - HNL to mainland.

Any tips on air fare savings? We live in Ohio but are flexible on departure cities .... can even break up the trip from CMH to a west coast city on Feb 14. Help!

You are very late to be looking for real savings. Jump on kayak.com and see what is available to you and don't dither over a few dollars. Interisland flights can and do sell out and I have yet to fly a plane from the west coast to any of the islands that wasn't packed.

Get looking...do you have your rental cars booked?

Agree....you are VERY late to the game. The time of your visit is extremely popular.....what with Valentine's Day and President's week. Many folks are heading to the Islands. I don't suspect there are many seats left.....regardless of deals.

Check out the fairly new "google/flights" search engine that offers month at a glance fare pricing calendars and other such helpful tools.

This was posted on the Maui forum today: beatofhawaii.com/hawaii-deals-four-west-coas… Not sure if it's available for your dates, but if it is, perhaps you could combine Southwest and United flights?
