Is it better to Kayak in Resurrection Bay in eve. or mid day

Hi,

We ( 2 adults & 14 & 17 yr old) would like to do a 1/2 day kayak tour in the Resurrection Bay. My older daughter is prone to seasickness. I heard it might be better to kayak from 6-10pm because the mid-day trip (11- 3pm) can be windy due to the Sun being out?

Does anyone have any suggestions on time of day where the water is most likely to be calm? We can't do morning because we will not get off the ship in time. Also, is it colder to kayak in the evening?

Thanks in advance for your help,
