airport question

As it looks now, we will be at the airport for a two hour or more layover in South Satellite. We looked online and it looks like central area is the place to be for some quick food and shopping. How easy and quick is it to get around?

What is the best way to do that? We would be picking up food to go and doing some quick browsing.

once your in the airport you can go anywhere without going back thru security. Look for the Pacific Marketplace. It has lots of stores and restaraunts that charge the same price as their downtown locations.

Down to a one hour layover; is this feasible?

That would depend what gate you come in at and what gate you are leaving from and if your first flight is on time. You can look on the SeaTac website for an airport map.

if your still in the s satellite you need to take a train to main terminal. If its only an hr you may as well stay in s satellite as they will board your plane 20-30 minutes before departure time so there really isn't that much time.

I would stay in your wing of the airport. There are good eateries and basic shops all over the airport. An hour gives you time to stretch, get a magazine and a bite to eat but not much more than that so why rush to another area of the vast terminal?
