Can Can on 94 Pike Street in Seattle has a great list of live music, jazz, blues, etc. Great atmosphere and drinks, wonderful place to go for some entertainment.

Photography, well do you plan to rent a car? Are you planning on leaving the Seattle city limits to explore? There's Mt. Rainier, Hurricane Ridge, The San Juan Island Cascade Mountain loop, Hoh Rainforest, Crescent Lake on the Olympic Peninsula, most of these would take more than one day except for Mt. Rainier. If not, there's the Space Needle, you'll be right on the water at Pike Place Market and if you are there for sunset (around 10 p.m.) you'll have a wonderful sunset with Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains in the background. Pioneer Square is also a great place to shop, have a bite to eat. Lots of trees and interesting architecture. By the way, the bus is free within the downtown area.

My favorite restaurants are Matt's at the Market, Palisades, Metro Grill, Etta's and Dahlia Lounge. All are in Seattle, fresh ingredients for all restaurants. Metro Grill is mostly steak/beef and the others have great seafood/shell fish, chicken, and other items.

Definitely go to Pike Place Market, stop at the various shops for a bite of International food that's available, lots to choose from.

You can check who's playing those days at: The Triple Door, Jazz Alley, Crocodile Cafe, or Chop Suey.

Etta's Seafood is a favorite of mine too. Or Assagio's or La Fontana for Italian, both in Belltown.

If you like your music check out the EMP

http://www.emplive.org/

Wonder history of the guitar section - permanent Hendrix exhibit.

And a fun 'try out' of different instruments.

And the building itself is pretty funky for some photography?

Have a gudden!
