Downtown Seattle with 4-Yr old...ideas?

My family staying in the Harbor Steps area of downtown for 5 nights in early May. I would love any suggestions on fun activities in the general area for our 4-yr old son. We won't have a car, so accessibility via public transit is a plus. Thanks!

You're about 1/3 mile walk from the Aquarium. http://www.seattleaquarium.org/ Google maps: http://goo.gl/CoHYRa

In Pioneer Square you could visit Magic Mouse Toys, but be prepared to buy him something. :o) http://magicmousetoys.com/contact.html Google maps: http://goo.gl/OFXscc

There are also quite a few things to do at Seattle Center (via the Monorail or Metro bus).

Pacific Science Center http://www.pacificsciencecenter.org/

Seattle Children's Museum http://thechildrensmuseum.org/

Seattle Children's Theatre http://www.sct.org/Shows/Calendar#5/1/2014

On the waterfront grab a bite to eat at Red Robin http://www.redrobin.com/locations

or at Ivar's where you can feed french fries to the seagulls (Pier 54 Fish Bar or Acres of Clams). http://www.ivars.com/locations/acres-of-clams

Of course the Pike Place Market is also nearby. Pick up a caramel apple at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory http://rmcf.com/WA/Seattle50435/map.asp?

Second recommendation for the Children's Museum. Ditto the Aquarium.

Depending on your son, other options may include the Monorail ride, the Big Wheel, the Duck Tour, the Ballard Locks, and an Argosy boat tour.
