We will arrive in ANchorage and plan to spend our first day on a scenic drive along the Seward HIghway - probably as far as Portage. THe following morning will leave early for Denali... SO... my question is, we hoped to stop at the Wildlife Conservation Center.. but wondered if it would take less time, and we would see more animals by going to the ANchorage zoo?? I know it is small, but that is good since we dont have much time if we want to continue on the scenic drive. .. we just would like to get a little "closer" to some of the animals common to ALaska that we might not see in the huge zoos in California and other parts of the States... ANy thoughts on what the two places are like, and the time it takes to tour each of them???
