What part of town will you be staying?

Wheatfields is a great place, it's midtown ish.

Heard good things about Amatos (believe it was featured on the Diners, Dives, & Drive Ins food network show)

Farmhouse on 84th isn't bad or there's Summer Kitchen off the Interstate and Giles/Harison.

My vote's for Wheatfields. Big menu.

I second Wheatfield's -- it's my favorite for breakfast.

We are staying at the Marriott on Regency Street. Thank you for your ideas. I think we will try it out.

At the Marriott on Regency, you're VERY CLOSE to Wheatfields.

But if you want something more "diner like", I recommend 11Worth Cafe downtown. It's an eclectic part of town with an interesting mix of people. Their portions are BIG and their food is tasty. It's a typical diner menu (breakfast, sandwiches -- open 6 to 2 daily).

11-Worth Cafe

2419 Leavenworth St,

Omaha, NE, 68105

(402) 346-6924

They have a huge parking lot on the North side of Leavenworth across the street from them. As well as on-street parking.
