Using Google Maps for Iceland driving

According to Google Maps driving from Borgarnes to Budir should take 1 1/2 hours. But what speed/hr are they using? Doesn't it really take much more than this due to road conditions and low speed limits?

Is there a way to enter a speed limit with Google Maps?

You can travel at 90kmph max, there are speed cameras along the way, be careful. The timing is correct, the road is superb (1, 54, 574).

Depending on start and endpoints, I get a travel time of about 1:25 (85 minutes, or 1.42 hours), and a distance of 105 km. That works out to an average speed of 74 km/h.

In general, I've found that Google's estimates of driving times tend to assume average travel at a bit below the posted speed limit, whether or not that is entirely realistic. In this case, it should be about right.
