Hallo Cambridge and Harvard, just wanted to say that our trip to Harvard went very well. We spent 5 and a half lovely days in a wonderful place and enjoyed ourselves hugely. We just loved the buzz around the streets and the campus is so attractive. We got a seven-day T-ticket and getting into Boston was no bother. I loved the beautiful buildings and my, the weather! Glorious sunshine every day. Watched the Oktoberfest parade on Sunday, what fun! John Harvard's was a good place for drinks and the food is really good there. Nice people everywhere, too. Particularly the guy in the Radioshack who helped me out when my mobile phone charger for some reason wouldn't work with the US adapter. Just wandering around the streets was an absolute pleasure.
Unfortunately "A Friendly Inn" on Cambridge Street turned out to be anything but friendly. Thankfully the University got us a room in the Faculty Club which was just great.
So, thank you! I'd love to come back.
P.S. I never made it to any of the hair salons that some of you suggested to me. Too much to do and see. I just used the hairdryer in our room. But thank you again!
