I am sure you will find that they do both.

There will be a cooked buffet breakfast but also meats and breads etc for a continental if you want it .

Enjoy your stay.

At the Seashells resort (Suncrest Hotel) you will have a choice of two places to eat breakfast. In the Le Pavillon restaurant ,which is just up a few steps from reception, you have a wide choice from a buffet style breakfast (cereals, fruit, fruit juices, meats, cheese, full cooked, eg sausage, bacon, beans, eggs, etc, toast, breads, jams) which is served from 07.00 to 10.00 am. La Place is downstairs from reception where a healthy breakfast is served (cereals, fruit, fruit juices, bread) from 07.00 to 11.30 am.

At lunch time there is usually a choice of two restaurants.

For evening meal there is a choice of three restaurants - Le Pavillon, It-tokk (Maltese dishes) and outside Sun and Surf (BBQ).

Enjoy your stay at the Suncrest and holiday on Malta.

Hi Steve

There are bars and restaurants along the coast road from Seashells. A very short walk at the back of the hotel are others to choose from and a little further into Bugibba you have even more choice. There is a bus stop virtually outside Seashells but depending on the time of year/time of day you wish to catch a local bus you could be better heading for the bus station in Bugibba which is only a 5/10 min up from the back of the hotel. At busy times buses frequently pass the Seashells stop as they are fully loaded so the short walk is well worthwhile. There is little sightseeing around the hotel but you are right on the coastline so get a lovely sea breeze and view across the bay. There is a block paved prom which stretches from just before Seashells round to St Paul's Bay - a long walk - which has benches and cafes along its route with a small harbour at the far end of Bugibba. Many swim from the rocks just down from the hotel pool which is accessed under the road from the hotel ground floor. There are water sports during the summer months.

thought of another question (or two)

dress code for the restaurant says "The hotel dress code does not allow shorts or sleeveless tops in their restaurant during dinner." so no shorts at all (fair enough, when its 32 deg and blistering hot, why would anyone want shorts on !!) but sleeveless tops ? does that just mean men with vests on or women with dresses/tops that are strappy and don't have sleeves ? Surely the latter would rule out most of the clothes women would wear in a hot country when on holiday. I don't think my other half has anything with sleeves that would be suitable in the heat ?

can anyone shed any light on what is and what isn't acceptable ?

thanks

Hi again Steve

There is a clear notice at the entrance of the Le Pavillion and It-tokk restaurants stating no shorts, etc at dinner. To reassure your other half women are fine wearing sleeveless dresses, etc for their evening meal. The notice really refers to men wearing vest tops and beach shorts. I have seen men being asked to return to their rooms to change into trousers and suitable top but occasionally you do see men who have missed the watchful eye of restaurant manager.

I like several others went in with "dressed up" shorts (ones more like pants than sports wear) and a shirt on several occasions.. no one bothered... I think if you are obviously dressed up and presentable then they are ok.. if you turn up with sports gear, flip flops and such, then they will ask you to change...

I did see one woman being told at the sandwich bar that she isn't supposed to come in just her bikini !
