Hello, would anyone know anywhere in Malta where we can go to do a bit of Rod fishing, slight mobility problems so cant walk over too many rocks, need to know if there are any little coves that we can fish off, any photos would be really appreciated, thanks Louise xxx

Loads of places, virtually anywhere from the shore. If you don't want to climb over any rocks there are concrete piers and jettys. There are several shops around selling tackle, basic kit is quite easy to find. I recall a shop along the Buggiba seafront selling beach goods and rods.

The links below might help. A plea to catch and release. As a SCUBA diver I can tell you the number of fish, especially specimens, around the shore, has declined.

Since you posted on the Qawra forum , I will assume that you are staying there . You can Rod fish , off the seafront jetty along any part of the Qawra seafront easily , but the best part would be off the jetty at the port side . I will try to find a pic ......https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1183030
