Prices

We're on our way to Buggiba in August (2 adults and 2 kids). I was wondering what the prices are like these day. How much for a beer, how much for a glass of pop, how much for a main meal from an average restaraunt? Any other useful info would be appreciated.

1. Re: Prices

we were 3 adults there last Sept. we ate most nights for 10-12 Euro each (main course only) or if you go earlier can get an early bird meals (3 courses for about 12 Euro ea). We thought drinks were good price - one night we had 2 spirit drinks (Bacardi/Coke & TiaMaria/Coke plus 4 Kinnies for about 9 Euros total - it was in a bar place with live entertainment - half way thru they brought out a small plate of sandwiches, some nuts (all complimentary) & the entertainer was very good called himself Danny DeVito lookalike or something like that. We also enjoyed eating at 5 Brothers? and Plum Tree. The local casino has specials on certain nights but the food was not great (well mine wasnt). There are lots of places to eat.

Beer at "Central Perk " cafe is 1.50 euros a pint ( well 500 ml actually -- slightly under a pint ). A lot more expensive in hotels.

Prices vary and it largely depends on whether you will be staying in a tourist area or not.

Just returned from Bugibba Malta and found a pint of

lager in most places for between 1 euro and1.50 euro, one cafe bar actualy had it for under 1 euro but unsure of the kind. Meals were on average 7 - 10 euros depending on what you wanted and where you went.
