bed and breakfast in town or outside?

My husband and I will be staying in the Woodstock area on Columbus weekend. We are trying to decide between a bed and breakfast on Pleasant Street in town or the AppleButter Inn which is a little bit outside of the town. What would be the benefits of being in either location? Thanks for any advice.

Good evening Memers, As a fellow innkeeper I cannot comment on either inn (both could be wonderful but you only name one?), and in the village you can walk everywhere if you care to, out of the village you may get better views....In Taftsville you also have a great village store and a covered bridge....as does Woodstock. Read the TA comments and see if any previous guests of either location, respond to your query.

Nice post David! We'll have to come down to Woodstock soon to look around. It's been years since we've been.
