If I were you I would go to Fontaine's, Steamhouse (new location on W Ptree) or The Depot.

The Depot is not to be confused with The Depeaux, which I have not tried and therefore cannot endorse.

Well, strike The Depot. I just got an email that it has closed. That's too bad - it was a really cool space. Fontaine's and Steamhouse are probably your best bets now. Their website:

Let me know what you find BBQman, I gave up after that place on Cobb Pkwy closed (near dobbins) that had them for 25 cents a piece (had to cut it in half to fit it on a cracker). The ones you get at the grocery store (for us do-it-yourselfers) are too small. Now I just get them when I go to Savannah.

fontaines was excelllent! oysters were plump, fresh and delicious. po boys, gumbo, red beans and rice, muffaletta, and crab cakes all were superior. great place. i'll write a review soon, but thanks JATLANTA FOR THE SUGGESTION.
