My wife and I have our 10th wedding Anniversary coming up. We have eaten at many of the nice restaurants throughout Atlanta and Buckhead and are looking for somewhere new to go.
We both would like to go somewhere that is intimate, offering private type dining.
Places like Veni Vidi Vici, Mortons Steakhouse, Chops, Canoe and Capital Grille are nice, but we don't want to sit in hard seats and have a view of everyone else eating in the restaurant and be subjected to people potentially speaking loud at the table next to us. Places like Two Licks where you are lined up and could hold hands with others eating next to you are not what we want. I can go to Melting Pot and get it, but I've been there too many times. I don't understand why all of the restaurants these day have open seating with no privacy. Does private dining still exist?
I'm having a hard time finding a restaurant that meets my criteria! This is frustrating.
Of course top notch food is a priority and price is no object, but who has this with privacy?
