Hi Sally

We like to eat at Dominoes!

We start the night off at the Red Lion as it is £1.00 for a large beer!

We book our trips with these guys!

http://www.tinyakropol.com/

Best trips were Jeep Safari, Dalyan and Boat Trip to Butterfly Valley etc!

There is a Turkish bath in Hisaronu (near the market)

My main tip is to avoid the Airport as the buggers want to take you home!

Dont forget the £10.00 on entry to Turkey!

Dont forget the toilet wheel!

I Hope this helps!

The Lemon Tree is good for food

Jeep Safari and Boat trips

Seahorse, Sugar & Billys beach on the lagoon

If going to the market, go early

Take food with you on the way home, airport prices are ridiculous.

lulabell.....as its not advisable to flush toilet paper when in Turkey (the pipes internal diameter is much smaller than here in the UK and will block very easily), you are faced with the choice of a rather smelly bin to put used loo paper in or you could clean yourself using the 'wheel' (that you will find adjacent to the toilet seat hinge area) to direct a jet of water in the errrrr.....right place..... to clean yourself. A bit like a bidet...but operated by a wheel.

Thanks guys, a lot of great advice.... I remember the toilets from Marmaris in 1998..... Hope to see a lot on this trip as last time it was high 50s/low 60s and we found it difficult to move from the pool during the day in such extreme heat

Would the jeep safari be suitable for someone with a tendancy to back pain (my dad is using this as an excuse, however, my paragliding mother is keen to go)

Cheers

There are loads of nice restaurants, one of our favourites is Castellos.

The Turkish people are very friendly, we have made some good friends over the years, they will do anything for you.

Market is on a Monday, go early as it get crowded and hot, never pay the first price for anything, you need to haggle. I usualyy half what they say and gage it from there, if you walk away and they come running you'll usually get a good deal.

The boat trips are a must, don't go on a Friday as a lot of Turks go then and the boats are sometimes crowded

I wouldn't recommend jeep safari with a dodgy back. Maybe try truck safari for a smoother ride. Better to be safe than sorry.
