Turkish bath and Children?

We have been going to Hisaraonu for 5 years and love the Turkish baths but now we have a 2 year old in tow we're not sure we'll be able to have one. Has anyone taken children before?

Hi, I've taken my son to the turkish bath in the past but he was 8 at the time. He didn't have a 'proper' one as such - it was more like a wash down with a very soapy cloth and then they poured water over him to rinse him off.

I can't say he particularly enjoyed it and he hasn't been since however, your little one might well do as he is much younger - how much he likes bathtime I guess would be a good gauge.

I'm sure the guys wouldn't mind if he just came in with you though.

Have a great time

......I guess the other option is to have your turkish baths seperately whilst the other parent keeps your little one occupied - thats what we do now.

You don't need to forego the experience altogether.

I dont think a Turkish bath would be recommended for a 2 year old. The heat in the Hamman isnt suitable - or btw it is also not recommended for folk with high blood pressure
